PxCad ToolBox makes AutoCAD Easier, Faster

PxCad has released PxCad ToolBox, a comprehensive library of AutoCAD tools that increase productivity and simplify the job of working with AutoCAD. PxCad ToolBox adds more than 100 commands, including wire frame modelling tools, tools for layout work, and enhancements for drawing presentation.

Each of the 100+ commands can be accessed from the PxCad ToolBox pulldown menu, or by entering a 2- or 3-letter keyboard command. Regular users of AutoCAD will appreciate the ability to enter commands more quickly, and to use so many time-saving new commands.

PxCad ToolBox's Hide Object command makes it easier to work on a busy drawing or model. Simply type HO (or select the command from the pulldown menu), and the program will hide unnecessary objects from view. The HO command doesn't alter the layer state of the objects selected. It simply removes them from the display while all of the other objects on the same layer remain visible. You can unhide all of the hidden objects with a single keyboard command, or you can restore hidden objects one at a time.

The new Enhanced Divide command is easier to use than AutoCAD's built-in command to divide an object into equal segments. Select an object or define pick points, and tell Enhanced Divide if you want to divide by a number or by a distance.  PxCad ToolBox will display the result on the command prompt. Without Enhanced Divide, AutoCAD will place your points along your object. With Enhanced Divide, you can accept the result or try again, before you add the points to your object. Since it often takes more than one attempt to divide an object, Enhanced Divide can save quite a bit of time and frustration.

PxCad ToolBox's Dimension A Line (DML) command has many uses. In one operation, you can add line-length text to every line in a 2D drawing or 3D model. This command can also be used to measure the distance between objects or between any two points, and add that text to your drawing or model.

Three Line Text commands let you add text to any line, or between any two points, in three different sizes. These commands are useful for adding text notes and labels to objects in 2D drawings or 3D models.

PxCad ToolBox includes more than 100 commands like these, to reduce the repetitiveness of using AutoCAD, and to increase productivity. The PxCad ToolBox manual describes all of these time-saving commands; it is available online on http://www.pxcad.com/. Or you can download the fully-functional 14-day trial version of the PxCad ToolBox software, and start using the commands immediately.

PxCad ToolBox is an add-on for AutoCAD 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.  A 12-month subscription including updates costs $54.95(USD). For more information, visit http://www.pxcad.com.
